Because of the patented armature design

is no adjustment for wear. To help with
heat dissipation, the housing is vented
and an internal fan runs whenever the
motor shaft is turning. Integral conduit
housing makes connections from a power
source simple and there is no need to
purchase a separate conduit box. Output
shaft has large bearings to handle heavy
overhung loads.

there is no concern about contamination.
Each unit has an adjustable torque range
that can be set by the user and since
the units operate via permanent magnets,
no external controls or power is required.
